A great opportunity to write, draw or speak! Lillemo won last year and got her entry published in a book! I wonder if we will have any Meadow 1 winners this year!

Poo investigation
Today the children worked out what sort of animal did each poo! Was it a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore? I wonder if they can remember how they worked it out. Don’t worry it wasn’t really poo!
Amazing Ammonites!
Don’t they look lovely now we’ve painted them!
Golden Butterfly
Congratulations to this member of Meadow 1 who cheers everyone up with her smile and caring attitude!
Home Learning
This member of Meadow 1 took advantage of the glorious weather this weekend and went rock pooling! She loved it so much she made her very own rock pool when she got home!
Golden Butterfly
Congratulations to this member of Meadow 1 who is always there for everyone!
Ammonites
This afternoon we started drawing our ammonites in pen. We’re going to paint them next week – don’t they look fabulous! We found out how there were lots of ammonites swimming around in this area during Jurassic times and that fossils can be found today on our beautiful coast in Charmouth.
Home learning art
What a great piece of art this Meadow 1 super star has produced!
Place value
For the last couple of weeks the children have been working on place value with bigger numbers. This game will help consolidate their learning.

The Big Walk and Wheel
This starts on Monday and we will be recording how many children come to school using wheels or walking. If possible it would be great to get even more Meadow 1 pupils to come to school like this! We will be recording how we do on the gate each morning! Please talk to your child about the benefits to their health and the environment!
