On Friday the children found about the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian who is famous for his abstract paintings made from squares and rectangles. We loved how he only used vertical and horizontal lines. He also used the primary colours to create his minimalist pieces of work. We all had a go at creating our own and thought carefully about the position of our colours and lines.
